“Amelie has no boyfriend. She’s tried once or twice, but the results were a let down. Instead, she cultivates a taste for small pleasures: dipping her hand into sacks of grain, cracking creme brulee with a teaspoon, and skipping stones at St. Martin’s canal.”
—Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain

I miss singin’ in church, so for Easter I sang one of my favorites in my bathroom and recorded it. :P And now I’m sharin’ it with strangers on tumblr.
(Warning: the beginning is iffy haha)
Every year, I see new ways in which my mom changed and shaped my life.
It’s hard not to wish I’d had more time with her, but this year I’m choosing to remember April 1 with gratitude and a positive spirit.
Thanks, Mom, for reading to me constantly; encouraging me to be imaginative; instilling in me good study habits; modeling what selflessness and servitude look like; and teaching me that no matter what grade I got or how I placed in Spell Bowl, what mattered most was whether I did my best.

Anonymous asked: i was wondering where you were in between all those naked men on your tumblr?
Here’s one of me :P I don’t usually post pictures of myself, because I can find way hotter people on the interwebs. #sadbuttrue :P |
